Project description
In this project, Dutch, German and Council of Europe experts cooperated with Azerbaijani counterparts and assisted Azerbaijan in the process of introducing administrative law. The main activities of the project included: consultations in Baku with Western experts to finalise the draft Administrative Procedure Code before its publication, development of a commentary on the newly adopted Administrative Procedure Code, train the trainers for judges and training for civil servants, popularisation campaign in order to inform the public at large and the legal professionals about the introduction and the implications of this new code. The project was implemented in close cooperation with the Azerbaijani Ministry of Justice and the Azerbaijani Parliament.
