Project description

The overall objective of this project is to support the development of the rule of the law and good governance in Libya. The project will operate within a Government-to-Government (G2G) framework with the purpose to ultimately strengthen relations between the Dutch government and the Libyan government.

The specific objective is to support the High Judicial Institute (HJI) of Libya in developing the capacities of their trainers to draft fit-for-purpose legal curricula documents and programmes for the HJI’s training courses. By its design and set-up of the online training program, the project will also develop the capacities of these trainers to execute the curricula.

This project (basically a training programme) therefore aims to achieve the following result: equip 14 key personnel members within the HJI with the skills and knowledge to draft fit-for purpose legal curricula documents and programmes for the HJI’s training courses.
