Support for the law faculties of Bahir Dar and Jimma was the follow-up to CILC’s baseline study for Ethiopia’s Justice System Reform Programme in 2005 consisting of recommendations on law making and law revision, the judiciary, the public prosecution sevice, the police, prisons and legal education. The Ethiopian law faculties of Bahir Dar and Jimma were supported by Utrecht University and CILC in the upgrading of their teaching staff to LLM level, and the revision of their curriculum and teaching methodology.
