Project Management

I joined CILC in 2022 as a Project Manager. I’m responsible for designing and implementing projects across the MENA region. My role is to manage CILC’s Shiraka portfolio. This involves three Shiraka Training Programmes (STP) and several demand-driven government-government projects (G2Gs).

Experience and expertise

I completed a Master’s in Public International Law at Leiden University. This led me to an internship supporting human rights defenders facing persecution in 2019. I have remained in international development cooperation since. Before CILC I was Project Coordinator on a UK Aid programme in North Africa focusing on governance, security and justice.

Passion and vision

I enjoy helping people to help themselves. Designing and implementing Shiraka trainings is highly rewarding. Watching delegates growing professionally while gaining a solid network across the MENA region is a pleasure. Beyond these individual interactions, I firmly believe that each certificate conferred helps to enhance the Netherlands’ global perception as strong proponent of the rule of law.
