I joined CILC as a Project Officer in 2025. In this role, I work together with project managers to plan, implement and report on international projects in Suriname and in the MENA region.

Experience and expertise

With a background in International and European Law, I have developed a strong foundation in legal frameworks, international institutions and cross-border legal matters. My insight into rule-of-law development and legal reforms has equipped me to contribute to strengthening justice systems worldwide.

Passion and vision

Motivated by a deep commitment to justice and international cooperation, I am dedicated to strengthening legal systems and fostering lasting peace. Witnessing the positive impact of the trainings we implement brings me immense fulfillment and drives me to continually pursue even greater accomplishments.

The Shiraka Training Programme (STP) is part of the Shiraka Programme, developed by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Middle East & North Africa

TMT Access to justice: Female Judiciary Training in MENA region

The project consists of trainings aimed at empowering and strengthening the skills of female judges in Yemen, Egypt and Jordan.

South America

Makandra (Council for the Judiciary)

This project offers practical coaching to approx. 15 criminal law trainee judges; 15 criminal law trainee judges and 10 civil law trainee legal staff to contribute to the professionalization of Suriname’s justice system.
