The fifth project year of CILC BESp project started with a Regional Workshop on Disciplinary proceedings that was held on 4th-5th September 2024 in the lovely Bijela, Montenegro.
Bridging our focus on Monitoring and Control to disciplinary procedures, representatives of the five legal systems Ministries of Justice, Chambers of Enforcement Agents and members of the respective Disciplinary Committees met to discuss the logical continuation of the process of exercising effective control over the work of private bailiffs. CILC experts presented the developed Regional Guidelines on Monitoring & Control, reviewed the Regional Guidelines on Ethics and exchanged experiences on Disciplinary process and practices.
The workshop allowed participants to learn about each other’s disciplinary process, share challenges and difficulties they meet and exchange best practices. Reviewing the guidelines and their implementation helped the audience decide that there is a clear need for developing similar Regional Guidelines for disciplinary procedures, yet another joint effort to be undertaken under the BESp Project.
